The monograph is devoted to the relevant problem of microbiology – regulation of intestinal microflora population. Rational prevention of widespread intestinal dysbacterioses requires deep knowledge of the mechanism of microflora population regulation. The book provides detailed analysis of the literature data and the results of the authors' studies devoted to these mechanisms. In particular, it shows that the colibacilla intestine microflora population is regulated by the immunity factors activated against the endotoxine of gram-negative bacteria (their surface antigens). New data required to understand the reasons for dysbacteriosis development and design methods of their prevention and correction.

The book is intended for a wide circle of doctors and researchers.
