New national standards

DEAR COLLEAGUES,

Please be advised that on July 1, 2016, national standards have come into effect that regulate the rules for working with and keeping various laboratory animals. These links to these documents are given below.

We would also like to remind you that when currently performing work that involves laboratory animals, it will be necessary to obtain an opinion from the Bioethics Committee on the compliance of the experiments with the principles of humane treatment of animals. This is required for publication in most peer-reviewed journals.
