The book is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Natural Nidality Infections Division of N.F. Gamaleya Institute for Epidemiology & Microbiology established by academician Y.N. Pavlovsky in 1933 and throughout its history playing the role of the leading scientific and organizational center of studying and prevention of this group infections in the USSR and then in Russia.

The key purpose of the book is to highlight the contribution of the division employees in development of the theory and studying natural nidality of various transmissive and non-transmissive infections. The reviews are prepared by experts well known in Russia and abroad.
